As part of SMC’s High Cycle Life – Race Series (HCL-RS), this high-capacity 1S pack is designed to deliver consistent power over longer runs while resisting voltage drop under high current draw.

These cell formulations were developed for SMC by an independent factory specifically for racing applications. While higher mAh and extreme C ratings are common in flight packs and speed-run batteries, the demands of competitive modified on-road and oval racing are different. These race-focused formulas are optimized to reduce internal resistance and maximize mAh per cubic centimeter of the cells, resulting in improved voltage retention, reduced sag, and reliable power delivery throughout the entire race.
