Standard Return Policy
RCTrim is happy to accept returns on any new, unopened, and unused items within 15 days of purchase for a refund or store credit. In rare cases where returned items require significant handling or repackaging, a 25% restocking fee may apply. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Damaged Package Claims
If your order arrives damaged during transit, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the package. To begin a claim, contact us directly—we’ll guide you through the process. In most cases, we may ask that the damaged item(s) be returned for verification.
Additionally, clear photos of the damaged package and products may be required to help us assess the situation and speed up resolution. Providing images allows us to work more efficiently and ensure the best possible outcome.
Lost Package Claims
If your order hasn’t arrived and you suspect it may be lost, please reach out to us as soon as possible. If your package is confirmed lost, we’ll offer a full replacement, store credit, or a complete refund—whichever you prefer.
Please note: Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs, including related fees.
Defective Merchandise Return Policy
If you receive a product that appears to be defective, please get in touch with our Customer Service team by email right away. In most cases, we’re authorized to handle warranty claims directly. However, there are instances where the manufacturer or supplier may prefer to work with you themselves.
If the manufacturer is unable to resolve your issue to your satisfaction, don’t hesitate to reach back out—we’re here to help and will do our best to assist further.
Please note: RCTrim reserves the right to decline returns on items that are determined to be non-defective.
PRO Service & Custom Print or Apparel Return Policy
Due to the customized and handcrafted nature of our PRO build and customized product lines, they are not eligible for return.
It's important to us that you be fully satisfied with your purchase, and if you're not completely happy with the product or service we’ve provided, we want to make it right.
Our priority is to ensure you love your RCTrim custom products or build, and we’re here to help. If there’s an issue or concern, please don’t hesitate to contact us via email. We’ll work with you directly to find a solution that meets your needs, because your satisfaction is our top priority.
Terms & Conditions
RCTrim unfortunately cannot accept returns on items that contain fuel, lithium polymer (LiPo or LiHV) batteries, or other hazardous materials.
To ensure your return arrives safely, please package all items securely to prevent shipping damage. RCTrim (Emerald City Games and Hobbies LLC) is not liable for damage that occurs in transit or for packages that are lost before reaching us. We strongly recommend insuring your shipment and choosing a carrier that provides tracking services.
Warranty coverage is limited to the terms set by the product manufacturer and is only valid for items accompanied by dated proof of purchase. Any warranty-related repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of RCTrim. Please note that collateral damage is not covered under manufacturer warranties.
Additional Policies
If you decide to refuse your package upon delivery, we’ll issue a refund once the package is returned to RCTrim's physical address, minus the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier. The return shipping charge will be determined once the package is back with us.
For damaged packages, RCTrim may ask for photos of the damaged package and contents. These images help us process your claim more quickly and provide a faster resolution.
Any discounts applied to your order, including coupon codes, will be prorated across the returned items. You can find both the discounted and full prices on your order invoice. If you have any questions about how the discount was applied, feel free to contact Customer Service—we’re happy to assist!
