These cell formulations were developed for SMC by an independent factory specifically for racing applications. While higher mAh and extreme C ratings are common in flight and speed-run packs, the demands of competitive on-road and off-road racing are different. These race-focused formulas are optimized to reduce internal resistance and maximize mAh per cubic centimeter, resulting in better voltage retention and reduced sag under real-world racing loads.
